Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team in a major financial group.

As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the stability, security, and performance of our critical Linux-based systems, ensuring seamless operation of the bank's IT infrastructure.


Missions:

  • Perform regular system and security audits, vulnerability assessments, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring high availability and mínimal downtime.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in oncall rotations and provide afterhours support as needed.

Qualifications:

Main Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, preferably in the financial or banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS) and system administration tools, including LVM
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Openstack) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
  • Knowledge of storage solutions, such as SAN, NAS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation and process improvement.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) and version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and experience working within ITILbased environments.
  • Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCE are a plus.

  • English level B2 (
    mandatory) / French is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational, analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Fast learner, easy to adapt, team worker

Availability to:

  • On Duty Call (
    mandatory)
  • Punctual trips to France
