Your contribution to something big:
being part of the world wide Sales and Marketing Team for BU CO, supporting the global head of sales Controlling;

  • Reporting of Sales KPIs: monthly actuals, rolling forecast and yearly business planning (sales, Order Intake, Price change rate, cost slinked to sales organisation, PC linked to sales organisation etc.);
  • Analysis of gaps versus budget and prognosis (understudying the business reason behind) and explaining that in a comprehensive way to Sales & BU leadership as well as HQ;
  • Ad hoc analyses and special requests of Sales KPIs (sales, Im1, Customer, segment split, product, NPI);
  • Support for graphical visualization and new sales reporting logics (concept of steering tools and coordination of set up);
  • Central support for forecasting and annual budget planning as well as preparing calculations;
  • Creation of reporting and presentation templates for Sales Controlling;
  • Close cooperation and communication with the Sales & Marketing and Controlling team of a Business Unit headquartered in Germany, support with tools and analysis in MS excel and/or PowerBI;
  • Analyse the development of discounts to customers, product margins and currency effects;
  • Automation of standard processes and complex data mining requirements utilizing advanced and highly efficient customized solutions;
  • Constantly strive for continuous improvement of processes (CIP) within the area of responsibilities.

Qualifications:


This position is located in Ovar, Portugal and target line to the head of global sales controlling in Munich, Germany.

You have a clear vision on business controlling and you know how to add value to the decision-making process. You are a valuable sparring partner to senior management.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Degree in economics, management, accounting or similar;
  • Minimum 2years of professional controlling experience, preferably in Sales Controlling;
  • Sound understanding of core controlling processes (e.g. business planning, forecasting, reporting, measure definition & tracking) and management accounting;
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with numbers and understanding "the story behind";
  • Very strong MS Excel skills and preferable BI & Advanced MS Excel;
  • Knowledgeable in data processing and Business Intelligence with SAP Business Warehouse;
  • Highly motivated team player with candoattitude and willingness to learn;
  • You thrive in a fastpaced environment that is constantly changing;
  • You work on your own initiative, taking an analytical, resultsoriented and structured approach;
  • Fluent in English.
