As part of the Air & Sea Digital product team at DSV you will be a part of the IT unit driving innovation and building the future digital landscape which will move Air & Sea DSV business forward into the
- tech world of transport, logistics and
- commerce.


You are the key player in the development team and the most knowledgeable person that focuses on the events streaming capabilities and integration aspects.

You will be solving most exciting and challenging technical problems designing and building events streaming ecosystem.

You serve as a technical advisory for the team and solution architects shaping most efficient and operable event streaming solutions.

You work closely with product owner and your team members implementing testing and operating business products in cohesive Agile environment with Dev
Ops philosophy, where team maintain full responsibility and ownership on the product.

Demanding performance requirements and high load is another dimension, that make this job interesting for people with problem solving mindset.

You will be building highly scalable products with the focus on current production performance and future grows of the business.

We need an experienced, Senior Software Engineer who is used to thinking outside the box delivering where others are failing.


Your main tasks will be:

  • Contribute to a technical solution design shaping the future event streaming solutions that meets business requirements.
  • Development of event streaming ecosystem with Kafka Confluent platform. Implementation of Kafka topics configuration, connectors, Events enrichments and transformation with Kafka tools and frameworks (Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, K
    SQL etc).
  • Implementation of the Integration interfaces for
based communication.

  • Contribution to an automated deployment implementations for Kafka based services.
  • Implementation of the automated tests and testing the solution adopting TDD approach.
  • Operations and Support of live products owned by the team in accordance with Dev
Ops practices

  • Providing good level of documentation for implemented solution.
  • Bringing your knowhow and best practices in development contributing to a continues improvements process.
Utilize the following technologies and frameworks (among others) to get the job done:

  • Java 1
  • Kafka (Connect, Streams, K

  • Debezium
  • Postgre

Our Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant commercial experience developing enterprise grade products. From which 1+ as a Senior Software Developer
  • 1+ years of experience working with our core tech stack: Java 11; Kafka (Streams, Connect, K
    SQL); Postgre

SQL/Mongo
DB; ELK Stack

  • Good level of expertise building highly loaded enterprise grade events streaming solutions.
  • Experience working with the Atlassian Stack (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket)
  • Experience working with Azure Dev
Ops (Azure Pipelines/Azure Repos (git))

  • Passion for software development using Dev
Ops/LEAN principles

  • Strong technical ownership of products and services being developed
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and thrive in an environment where you are encouraged daily to think outside the box
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with all levels of the web development technology stack
  • Openness, being a team player, logical thinking and striving to continuously learn and experiment is a must
  • Knowledge and experience building modern, containerized, and scalable applications for Azure (ARM) and Open
Stack is a plus
