Are you passionate about topics related to language, technology, multimedia and learning? Do you have an eye for detail and consider yourself to be a quick learner and team player? Then we have a great opportunity for you to join our Training and Development Services team as a Language Assistant for Training Projects.


As a Language Assistant for Training Projects, you will be responsible to manage translation and proofreading tasks for different content formats.


In your new role you will:

  • Perform desktop-editing tasks;
  • Interact with language service providers
    requesting quotations for translations and
    audio recording services ,
    providing feedback and
    handling payment requests ;
-
Maintain translation memories, terminology bases and other translation assets ;
-
Engage with the team to continuously improve language-related processes;
-
Communicate directly with our customers or providers and create long-lasting relationships;
-
Perform consistent quality checks to translation, proofreading or audio recording projects in different languages;
-
Ensure compliance with Infineon writing guidelines.


You have an eye for detail and you are a quick learner, who is willing to learn how to use new tools.

You are a team player and able to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner.

You are best equipped for this task if you:


  • Have a degree in Translation, Interpreting, Linguistics or equivalent fields
    ;:

Have experience working with CAT tools ;
-
Feel comfortable or willing to learn how to work with authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Cloud and Camtasia;
-
Fluent in English and German
