We are collaborating with a leading tech company in search of a talented Lead Software Engineer (BackEnd) to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal.

TasksAs the Lead Software Engineer (BackEnd), you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing a team of backend developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership.
Architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement robust and scalable solutions.
Driving best practices in software development, code reviews, and ensuring high code quality standards.
Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in production environments.
Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend infrastructure and processes.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
Experience in leading and managing technical teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
