Aerodynamics & Mechanical is a crucial division within Vestas Power Solutions. Through continuous innovation and product enhancement, we strive to develop cutting-edge technologies that optimize energy costs and deliver maximum value to our customers and to the company. Simply put, Vestas Power Solutions is at the forefront of shaping the wind power systems of tomorrow.

The Hub Module, housed under Aerodynamics & Mechanical, has established locations in Denmark, India, and Portugal. This module is wholly responsible for the expertise, design, specifications, and documentation of the hub. From the initial conceptualization of new turbines to final production specifications, the team is dedicated to design and analysis. Additionally, we are proactively exploring new technologies to integrate them into future turbine projects. The Hub team is also actively involved in hub design and service technologies.

You will be part of a diverse, global team spanning India, Denmark, and Portugal. Together, we collaboratively support each other and take immense pride in crafting superior solutions. Responsibilities

Design and specify Hydraulic systems and components, including hose routing and schematics in close collaboration with other HUB Sub-Modules and in accordance with specified requirements Enhance existing hose and hose assembly designs to drive cost efficiencies Provide technical assistance to customers, the commercial team, and production Develop experimental prototype hose and fittings for testing and validation

Qualifications

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in engineering, production, or supply chain Proficiency in analytical calculations, FEA, and ANSYS (Workbench) Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawings Sound understanding of Hydraulics and hydraulic systems Proficiency in Simulation & Optimization of Hydraulic Systems using Matlab/Simulink

Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal Interpret engineering requirements, define and manage project scopes ensuring timely and quality deliveries Strong problem-solving abilities Proven creativity in exploring new opportunities, with a natural inclination for innovation and adaptability to dynamic challenges Results-driven mindset with a keen focus on tasks and meeting deadlines with high quality Thrives in a team-oriented environment
