Position Summary


The eCommerce Expert is an Above Market SPOC, with the responsibility of supporting the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Zone eCommerce Category Lead and markets to drive creation, implementation and execution of the eCommerce defined strategy, accelerating category performance in eCommerce, supporting markets to create more impactful execution with our eCustomers and to support the development of a clear roadmap for sustained growth that defines key focus areas, elevates capability and increases the focus on the development of our eCommerce sub-channel sales.

He/she works closely with Above Market functions (Global eCommerce, SBU, Zones, and Internal Support Teams - NBS and MSE).

A day in the life of...

Builds a performing and engaged Zone eCommerce community:

  • Engage with the local community to gather the needs and understand the opportunity for above-market support
  • Establish strong partnership with the Zone and Global eCommerce team leveraging their expertise, resources, and support to ensure the adoption of best practice in both the above market and local market teams.
  • Raise the bar of eCommerce capabilities of local teams through existing training available

Improves transparency on eCommerce performance and drive actionable insights:

  • Under the lead Zone Sales Team, ensure understanding and use of Digital Shelf Monitoring tool data by the markets, build the insight to action plan with markets, report aggregated view of Digital Shelf KPIs to the markets and Z-EUR stakeholders

Supports the construction and activation of robust Channel and Category Strategy:

  • Guide markets in the eCommerce strategy development through Nestlé processes and in line with the Zone eCommerce plan
  • Translate the Category Strategy drivers and activations platforms of Zone for eCommerce
  • Support markets adopting 5P Picture of success/ Digital Shelf excellence execution guidelines per subchannel
  • Gather and communicate eCommerce needs for the innovation pipeline (competitive benchmark, markets feedback)

eCommerce Transformation:

  • In collaboration with Data & Analytics team, build use cases need assessment for eCommerce and propose ways forward to Zone Sales Teams (eg. automation, service lines )
  • Support adhoc the development of Zone DTC Platform(s) with the insights of eRetailers

What will make you successful

  • More than 3 years commercial experience (Digital, Sales, CDT) with experience of working within eCommerce, with proven experience on:
  • Engage a community
  • Build capabilities for beginners and experts' practitioners
  • Understands reporting and insights methodologies
  • Proficiency in excel and powerbi
  • Understands the business side and Category Management / Digital Shelf Management / Marketing Innovation process
  • Data&Analytics understanding
  • Proven English skills: writing, reading, speaking
  • Proven change management experience
  • Team oriented mentality and attitude where the work is approached with empathy, enthusiasm, ownership, responsibility, adaptability, balance, and resilience
  • Successfully managed and led launch / roll out of projects
  • Result oriented
