We are looking for
Data Scientist to join our company in one of our projects, in
Lisbon.

Tasks:


The required position would support Equity Financing business in its reporting : creation / automation / monitoring (both the indicators produced and the fact that report is being produced).

Within the Support team, the individual will work closely with Front Office and Quant Research and monitor production of daily reports required by the business:

  • Trouble shot with IT in case of production issue;
  • Data quality check day over day. Escalation to Operations (MO) and Front in case of booking;
  • Improve automation of reports production
  • Improve automation of reports production;
  • Work with Business and Quant to enhance existing reports with new data / method;
  • Automate production from XL based template to server based production;
  • Design new reports, and provide analysis and optimization suggestion;
  • Work with business to enhance our reporting framework to display more relevant indicators;
  • Once familiar with data, help in the analysis of the reports, highlight outsiders and suggest;
  • Work with Business and Quant to enhance existing reports with new data / method;
  • Automate production from XL based template to server based production.

Requirements:

  • BA, BS or MS degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Finance or Economics);
  • Relevant experience such as in Data Analytics or Engineering;
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL Excel and VBA;
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets and Prime Brokerage specifically is a plus ; Experience using Devops tools such as GIT, Jira and APIs (preferable);
  • Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking (preferable);
  • Be driven, enthusiastic and dynamic in search of improving processes, controls & procedure;
  • Fluency in English.

  • Hybrid (The 1st month will require to work 100% at the office, then 2 days/week from home).
