Lisbon we are looking for a
Junior Project Development Manager (f/m/d)
Focusing on the development of photovoltaic projects in their full life-cycle, for our growing Portuguese's pipeline of utility scale solar farms, you will work closely with our Portuguese development team and other internal teams, as well as external co-development partners.
The focus will be on the management of ongoing development and permitting processes within the portfolio, liaising with local authorities, preparing and managing permitting documentation.
It'll also include the initial site assessment of new development leads, buy-side due diligences of solar energy projects across Portugal.
Your responsibilities
- Support the development team during the permitting process of the renewable energy projects.
- Initiate and manage authorization processes.
- Discussion and agreement of technical and commercial specifics internally and with development partners.
- Accountable for costs, timeline and quality, risk management and troubleshooting throughout the project development phase.
- Work closely with cross functional resources, work with outside consultants, and liaise with governmental agencies on the siting, licensing and permitting issues of renewable energy facilities.
- Prepare detailed internal reports and planning on project related matters and provide support for preparing permits, regulatory reports, and other compliance submittals.
- Report the activities' progress, contractual issues, and results of the project.
Your qualifications
- Academic Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering, Renewable Energies or similar
- Experience and knowledge of the permitting and scouting procedures in Portugal
- Experience using GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, ARCGIS Pro) and AUTOCAD is a plus
- Planning, reporting and organization skills
- Welldeveloped intercultural and communication skills systematic organizational approach
- High level of Portuguese and English is mandatory, knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Availability to travel within Portugal
