Who and why are we hiring? We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products are delivered with the highest quality standards, by conducting thorough tests and identifying and reporting issues.

The QA Tester will work closely with the development team to ensure that all bugs and issues are fixed in a timely manner.

Core tasks are expected to include:

  • Develop and execute test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and requirements
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking tools
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers and the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that software products meet design specifications and are functional, reliable and scalable
  • Participate in development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Maintain and improve the existing test plans, testing processes, and test cases
  • Ensure that all documentation, including test plans and test cases, are up-to-date and accurate
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential risks to the development team and management

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience in software QA testing
  • Strong working knowledge of test management software (e.g. PHPUnit, Cypress, etc.)
  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
