Delox is seeking a dynamic Lead Engineer, with a visionary mindset and a keen desire to lead the development of a new groundbreaking product.

About Delox


Delox is a spin-off born in 2018 from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and in 2024 created its US branch Delox USA.

Delox technology consists of a solid formulation of hydrogen peroxide that enables the design of a new generation of bio-decontamination devices for various industries.

Delox's mission is to successfully solve the problem of microbial contamination and is currently focused on infection control and eradicating the need for social distancing.

We are designing a new generation of bio-decontamination devices to be integrated into HVAC systems – and we need your help for that

What do we need?

Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or similar
8 years of relevant experience
Experienced in prototyping, and industrial and product design
CAD software proficient (AutoCAD, Inventor or similar)
Experience with HVAC systems is valued
Strong communication and writing skills in Portuguese and English
Problem-solver
Collaborative skills and adaptability
Team-leader
Autonomous, self-motivated and proactive attitude
Organization and multi-tasking skills
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

What will you do?

Directly conduct and contribute to the development of a bio-decontamination system to be installed inside an HVAC
Lead the simulation of airflows and vapor dispersion
Drive the optimization of module design
Assess system performance
Identify design improvements
Validate simulation results through experimental testing and data comparison
Write reports and white papers
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop a new, innovative, and impactful product
