Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical consulting and deliver solutions within teams to optimize performance.
  • Design and develop architectures, proof-of-concepts, and demos to support presales activities for clients.
  • Lead technical aspects of Machine Learning projects, ensuring production scale applications.
  • Contribute as a technical expert in presales activities and knowledge sharing in the DXC machine learning community.

Education and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering and leading Data Science and machine learning projects.
  • Proven experience in all phases of a Big Data/Analytics project: Concept & design, development, implementation, change, and operation.
  • Advanced experience in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and bash.
  • Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes/AKS/EKS/Openshift.
  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and MLOps automation.
  • Experience in cloud architecting and machine learning technologies – Azure/AWS/GCP.
  • Experience in designing data management and machine learning solution architectures.
  • Experience with tools such as ArchiMate and TOGAF.
  • Experience with data versioning, pipeline tools, and model repositories (e.g., Kubeflow, dvc, mlflow).

Requirements:

  • Design Data Pipelines and Engineering Infrastructure: Create and maintain data pipelines to support large-scale ML enterprise systems.
  • Transition Offline Models to Production Systems: Transform ML models into real production systems.
  • Develop and Deploy Scalable Tools: Build tools and services for managing ML model training and inference.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Stay updated on the latest trends to enhance client ML systems.
  • Apply Software Engineering Best Practices: Use CI/CD, automation, and auditing for quality and security.
  • Facilitate Proof-of-Concept Model Development and Deployment: Collaborate with teams for proof-of-concept projects.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Science: Strong understanding of ML algorithms and data science concepts.
  • Experience with Spark: Knowledge of Spark for big data processing, including Spark SQL and MLlib.
  • Cloud Computing: Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Experience with Machine Learning Frameworks: Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
  • Familiarity with MLOps Tools: Experience with tools like Kubeflow, MLflow, TFX, Seldon, etc.
  • Knowledge of DevOps Practices: Understanding of CI/CD and tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Azure Machine Learning: Proficient in Azure ML platform.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks: Experience with Azure Databricks for big data analytics.
  • Familiarity with Azure Services: Understand other Azure services that integrate with Azure ML and Databricks.
