Position: French-speaking Senior Accounts Payable Accountant
  • Company: Our client is a global leader in aeronautics, space, and related services, providing the most comprehensive range of passenger airliners and being a European leader in providing various aircraft and space solutions.
  • Responsibilities - Your Mission:
    • Process and monitor incoming invoice flows from suppliers via different channels.
    • Ensure timely payment of invoices while adhering to internal and external requirements.
    • Resolve internal customer and external supplier queries promptly.
    • Investigate and resolve payment issues.
    • Perform Vendor Statement Reconciliations (VSRs) to match liabilities.
  • Customer Service and Relationship:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers.
    • Collaborate closely with internal customers to implement daily solutions.
    • Promote adherence to business rules and policies.
  • Compliance:
    • Act as a guardian of compliance and internal control processes.
    • Promote compliance among stakeholders and support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Invoice Processing:
    • Receive, verify, and process invoices accurately.
    • Investigate and resolve exception invoices.
    • Prepare invoices for payment.
  • Corporate Travel Program:
    • Review expense reports for compliance with corporate travel policy.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for the online travel tool.
    • Provide support and resolve travel inquiries.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Comply with safety and finance policies.
    • Complete tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Requirements - Ideal Candidate:
    • 5 to 10 years of Finance and Accounting experience.
    • Ability to handle high-volume data entry and resolve invoice issues.
    • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
    • Rigorous, analytical, and familiar with accounting practices.
    • Proficiency in French and Advanced English.
