Carlos Montez Champalimaud (Champalimaud Foundation) in the context of the project "The Neural basis of Weber's Law" - financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the Lisbon Regional Operational Programme and by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), through Portuguese National Funds (PIDDAC).
DurationSubject of activities
Applicants are expected to develop a research project within a broader research program whose goal is to identify and characterise computations and brain circuits important for the expression of Weber's law in sensory discriminations.
The project is expected to involve the development of perturbation experiments using optogenetics in freely moving rats performing sensory discrimination tasks.

Benefits:
Monthly Stipend
The fellowship will be paid monthly by bank transfer.
The fellowship holder will have a personal accident insurance and, if not covered by any social protection scheme, can ensure the right to social security through adherence to the voluntary social insurance scheme.
