This was an important turning point for the company, and our first step into a new region. Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines.

Hikma, intends to recruit an
Supervisor, Production (M/F) to integrate
Production - Hikma II Department,
on-site work.

Main Responsibilities:

• Schedules, performs and reviews all production department activities including: equipment sterilization / sanitation, containers washing, environmental monitoring, filling / stoppering
• Ensures that aseptic operations are performed accurately and in compliance with the company's GMPs and SOPs;
• Generates and implements production plans whilst ensuring that manufacturing schedules are developed and executed with no interruptions in the manufacturing processes and in full compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, EU and FDA regulations, and that no interruptions take place in the production processes as a result of personnel, supply materials, and/or equipment's shortages or interruptions issues;
• Evaluates the implementation of new/improved procedures that can contribute to enhanced product quality and increased productivity
• Manages the Department equipment and stocks control
• Generates and follows up on the daily/weekly production plans and reports in close coordination with other departments
• Reports the daily events to management
• Creates, updates and reviews written procedures
• Conducts and reviews production investigations reports and risk assessments as needed. Prepare and Ensure execution of Media Fill protocols and relative report/batch record.
• Manages the staff in the production department, and assists with the recruitment of new staff
• Conducts the human resource performance evaluation of department employees in conjunction with the HR Department and Department Manager
• Reviews, approves and keeps track of human resource related information and documentation such as absence sheets
• Conducts training sessions and quality circles
• Ensures that company policies and strategies are conveyed to all production personnel and followed by them, whilst encouraging them to remain motivated
• Continuous monitoring of department Performance and gap analysis with respective improvement plan

Profile:

• Degree in Chemistry/Technical Science and
• Experience of at least 3 years in working in GMP environment
• Leadership skills, having experience of leading people
• Computer skills including Word, Excel
• English Intermediate Level
• Training and technical coaching
• Written and oral communication
• Knowledge and understanding of how to conduct work in an Aseptic Environment
• Thorough understanding of the filling processes
• Trend / Analyze / Display Department Results
