Modelling & Analytics is part of Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) which is the cornerstone of innovation in Vestas.

As a member of our diverse team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters in Modelling & Analytics Module, you will have a central role in guiding and supporting Agile execution teams that enable Vestas to:

  • Configure, optimize and derisk a power plant sale
  • Reduce weather related risks
  • Deliver endtoend plant data management and performance reporting
  • Deliver continued plant optimization and forecasting, surveillance, optimal dispatch, energy management etc.

Responsibilities

You will have a key role in the execution of our projects and development activities within our SAFe inspired framework, by working closely with the development teams as well as Product Owners and module Project Managers.

You will be responsible for

  • Handling the scrum process, incl. Coordination with development teams and product owners and removing impediments for the scrum teams
  • Supporting the Product Owners in grooming and maintaining the product backlog to ensure it is ready for the next sprint
  • Coaching and guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to improve the customer satisfaction and assuring that the Release Train is executing and delivering at its best pace.
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team, coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team
  • Facilitating discussions, administration, and conflict resolution and facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Arranging daily standup meetings, facilitate & schedule meetings, demos, and decisionmaking process to ensure quick and proper use of adaptation processes

Qualifications

  • You have a technical or another relevant degree (B.Sc or M.Sc). An engineering degree within Data, IT or similar would be an added value, but not a requirement
  • You have minimum 23 years of experience as Scrum master or another Agilerelated role
  • You have experience with large matrix organizations, and you have experience in handling stakeholders on senior level
  • You have a good understanding of different execution, governance, and budget models
  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbally

Competencies

  • You can easily use and promote Agile values and principles and has deep knowledge of agile framework or methods (i.e., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
  • You can take and understand the commitment to deliver the product on time
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
  • Good planning and problemsolving skills in collaboration with product management and delivery teams
  • Ability to inspire and make people listen to you when you present your points with conviction and valid arguments
  • Able to work across different cultures with a clear presence even though some meetings will be coordinated remotely and embrace changes and you are guiding your surroundings through the changing environment
  • You have proven IT skills and can quickly understand and read systems and dependencies between systems
