Responsabilidades:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Coordinate and execute regular disaster recovery testing exercises to validate the effectiveness of recovery strategies and plans, making adjustments as necessary based on test outcomes
  • Develop and deliver training programs to IT staff and key stakeholders on disaster recovery procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Continuously monitor the IT landscape for emerging threats and technological advancements, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions to enhance disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
  • Research and recommend possible automated approaches for ITDR tasks
  • Facilitate ITDR vulnerability studies and impact assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and lead deep dives on key initiatives through program and project reviews
  • Integrate regulatory compliance requirements into the ITDR. Assist in response to regulatory and audit matters
  • Work closely with Business Continuity and Crisis Management team members to continually mature and improve the response to disruptive events

ABOUT YOU
5+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery planning,

administrative or managerial capacity with internal IT and/or

functional staff as well as vendor assigned resources in a large

global company

  • Knowledge, skill, and ability to maintain a companywide disaster
  • Detailed knowledge of compliance practices, global corporate
policies, laws and regulations governing Business Continuity and/or

Disaster Recovery Programs

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks,
databases, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles

Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster

recovery plans that ensure rapid recovery of IT services

  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure components, including hardware,
software, networks, data centers, and cloud services

  • Expertise with data backup, archiving, and restoration techniques
to ensure data integrity and availability

  • Strong problemsolving skills to develop effective recovery
strategies and troubleshoot issues during disaster recovery

operations

  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly in highpressure
situations, balancing the urgency of recovery with potential risks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively
convey disaster recovery plans and procedures to a diverse

audience, including technical staff, management, and non-technical

stakeholders

  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are
prepared and understand their roles in disaster recovery efforts

  • Strong collaborative skills to work with various departments,
external partners, and vendors to ensure a cohesive disaster

recovery strategy

  • Understanding of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance
requirements related to disaster recovery and data protection in

the organization's industry
