Glartek, founded in 2017, is a fast-growing Augmented and Connected Worker Platform leader for the Manufacturing Industry and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of shopfloor processes.

Our software solution combines the Augmented Reality, Artificial intelligence/Machine Learning and Internet of Things domains to bring visibility, optimization, and reassurance to industrial operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company, reporting directly to the VP Business Dev.

As an Business Development Manager, you will be a part of a dynamic team. As the ideal candidate, your goal is to be versatile, with high energy and strong sales skills.

TasksMid and long-term strategic Account PlanningSuccessfully manage and win sales opportunities to maximize new opportunitiesPrepare and deliver sales plans to win key salesInitiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new accountsEnsures proper qualification of sales leads/opportunitiesCreate and conduct client proposal presentations and RFP responsesExplain and demonstrate features and benefits of a complex productUnderstand customer needs and requirements and identify sales opportunitiesTrack weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metricsMaintain and expand database of prospectsResearch accounts, identify key players and generate interestTeam with channel partners to build pipelineStay informed about competing productsRequirements3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferable in the Industry (e.g., Manufacturing, Utilities or Automotive)

Demonstrable past successes through the effective selection, qualification and engagement of target accountsProven track record through disruptive GTM and business development strategiesEffective pipeline and forecast management, Mid and long-term activity and campaign planningStructured sales methodology to drive opportunities throughout the buying cycleGood understanding of the different sales methodologies and how to best apply eachExcellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong listening, presentation and sales skillsSelf-motivated, persuasive and goal-orientedPossesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanorTenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitudeAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyProven and effective collaboration skillsAn unassailable level of integrityProficient with corporate productivity and presentation toolsExperience in working with or similar CRMMust be technically fluent and have a natural curiosity for how things workNetwork of contacts in the Manufacturing Industry is a big plusBSc degree or equivalent preferredFluent in Portuguese and EnglishAvailable to travel domestically and internationally: 50% to 75% of the timeBenefitsYou will be working on a ground-breaking product, where you can use your creativity and knowledge to help solve challenging technical and social problems
