Join Our Team as a Release Manager at BNP Paribas Securities Services

If you're looking to be a key player in ensuring successful releases and coordinating technical tasks within our production team, this role might be perfect for you. As a Release Manager, you'll be responsible for managing all releases, ensuring thorough documentation, and coordinating with various teams to guarantee smooth operations throughout the process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deployment of IRP applicational releases on pre-production and production environments
  • Participation in technical activities such as migrations, DRP, and patching
  • Engagement in MAC server deployments
  • Preparation of deployment documentation
  • Verification and validation of documentation
  • Coordination with the development team
  • Effective communication with production support teams and development teams
  • Habilitations authorization and configuration on IRP applications
  • Participation in CAB meetings
  • Adherence to change/release management following ITIL guidelines
  • Compliance with ITIL standards and BNP Paribas Securities Services rules
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours when needed
  • Development and preparation of KPIs

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • First-class graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) from a reputed university
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience with Linux and its standard commands using the command line (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience with Sybase/SQL (mandatory)
  • Basic knowledge of DataStage TX (desirable)
  • Basic Ansible knowledge (mandatory)
  • Basic MAC knowledge (desirable)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position (mandatory)
  • General IT infrastructure knowledge
  • Sound understanding of ITIL norms, especially Incident, Change, and Request Management practices (desirable)
  • Experience and ability to perform technical analysis and identify impacts
  • Proficiency in measuring and identifying areas for improving quality and overall delivery
