Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer - Roads to join our accomplished team in Porto, Portugal.

In this crucial role within our Infrastructure division, you will be responsible for designing roads and highways at various project stages.

To excel in this position, your key duties will involve:

  • Creating roads and highways designs according to project specifications.
  • Ensuring accurate calculations conform to relevant Authority Standards and Codes of Practice.
  • Providing technical guidance to CAD/BIM Technicians for drawings and models.
  • Producing technical reports, presentations, and other project deliverables.
  • Collaborating with different teams to achieve a comprehensive design.

Qualifications

To thrive in this opportunity, you should hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. While we welcome candidates at all experience levels, a background of over 2 years in a similar role is preferred. Membership in a professional institution is a plus.

In addition, you should possess:

  • Demonstrated expertise in road and highway design.
  • Proficiency in software tools like Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with BIM technology is advantageous.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
