YOUR ROLE

As a Junior System Engineer specializing in Nokia NetAct, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers and cross-functional teams to support the setup, configuration, upkeep, and resolution of issues with NetAct systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and Configuration: Assisting in setting up Nokia NetAct software and related components under senior engineers' guidance.
  • System Maintenance: Supporting routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups to ensure system stability and security.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues related to NetAct with the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Network Monitoring: Observing system performance and producing reports to pinpoint irregularities or problems.
  • Documentation: Updating system documentation, including configurations, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Client Support: Providing technical assistance to internal teams and clients, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Cooperating with cross-functional teams to guarantee the smooth integration and deployment of NetAct systems.
  • Learning and Development: Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in Nokia NetAct to enhance your expertise and skills.
YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Some exposure to or knowledge in telecommunications, network engineering, or a related domain (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, systems architecture, and telecommunications technologies.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a proactive learning attitude.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a keenness to acquire hands-on experience in telecommunications and network engineering.
