Job Description

We focus on a "land and expand" strategy within enterprise and high-quality organizations. You will manage approximately 6-8 named accounts of existing customers to nurture and expand partnerships. Additionally, you will work with potential customers to introduce Dynatrace. You will receive guidance from our accomplished leadership team and collaborate with our top-performing sales professionals, SDRs, and Partners to support your journey to success.

What will your role encompass as an Expansion Account Executive

  • Execute account plans to maximize revenue potential in a group of broad, regionally focused enterprise private sector accounts
  • Drive new customer acquisition while focusing on retaining and expanding Dynatrace usage among existing customers
  • Collaborate with VP- and C-level executives to establish and execute an enterprise-wide strategy that optimizes the value provided by Dynatrace and positions the company against competitors
  • Accelerate market penetration by showcasing Dynatrace through product demonstrations, events, and tailored initiatives
  • Build a network of contacts within named accounts and channel partners to ensure effective and widespread sales of Dynatrace
  • Collaborate closely with various Dynatrace departments such as sales engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and other business lines to devise and implement a solution strategy that meets customer requirements
  • Ensure successful implementations for your customers

Qualifications

How will you and your Recruiter determine if you are a suitable fit for the Expansion AE role

  • Demonstrate a strong track record in enterprise software sales
  • Excel in fast-paced environments, displaying a sense of urgency in actions and decisions
  • Possess exceptional organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Have experience in account mapping and planning
  • Show motivation and tenacity as a self-starter, consistently achieving high performance against quotas with a focus on VP- and C-level relationships
  • Manage sales cycles in complex organizations while speeding up decision-making processes
  • Exhibit outstanding written and oral communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Collaborate effectively with internal resources in the sales department to enhance effectiveness and progress the sales process
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC principles
  • Exposure to Application Performance Monitoring (APM) (a bonus, not mandatory)
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement
