Job Description

A Get The Job is recruiting for its client, one of the main real estate developers in Portugal.

About the Company: Currently looking for a person to add value to the Project Development & Construction department. This department is a key differentiator in the market, providing a unique and unparalleled service, tailored to investors' needs in the field.

Location: Algarve, Portugal (Office near Loulé;)

Full Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday to Friday (flexible availability required due to the client's business)

Job Overview: Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, the Hospitality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the hotels align with the established standards of the hotel brand they collaborate with.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the hotel and the hotel brand to facilitate communication, concerns, or updates on brand standards, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and closely evaluate hotel operations, facilities, and services to ensure alignment with brand standards and legal requirements, assisting in policy implementation and management of procedures and regulations, including inspection and reporting.
  • Problem Solving: In case of non-compliance issues or challenges, the Hospitality Manager will work with relevant departments and teams to identify solutions and implement corrective actions.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with hotel brand representatives is crucial.
  • Hotel Management: Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure performance aligns with established goals; Select and recruit necessary qualified personnel: Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operational model: Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information, monitor sales and profits: Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote hotel services: Regularly inspect facilities and strictly enforce health and safety standards.

Key Knowledge and Skills:

*Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Business Management, or relevant field – Mandatory.
*Over 5 years of experience as a Hospitality Manager, working in all phases from conception to implementation.
*High knowledge and comfort with hotel management software;
*Focus and ability to work with goals and precision;
*Experience and enjoyment of working in a multinational environment;
*Fluency in Portuguese and English, spoken and written;
*Driver's License;
