We are hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Brazil


Handling millions of transactions for users and companies worldwide, we collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and payment service providers to enhance checkout conversion rates and streamline account management interactions.

Our focus lies in developing a new architecture and suite of systems to ensure consistency across various domains and services, driving efficiency and reliability throughout the platform

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Participate in the development of some of the most critical and challenging services in our ecosystem, seeking to build longterm and sustainable solutions;
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience;
  • Build Integration with 3rd party API and tools;
  • Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process;
  • Work with cuttingedge technologies and edge cases on a global scale.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;
  • Experience with microservices and high volume distributed systems;
  • Solid experience with RESTful APIs written in Spring and Java/ Kotlin;
  • Strong experience with asynchronous processing and data pipelines;
  • Solid architecture knowledge (eventdriven architectures; serverless);
  • Software quality and test automation mindset;
  • Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8s) experience;
  • Experience with SQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server or any other relational database;
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
