Middleware Developer

Your main responsibilities will include:
Development of decoupling services for legacy systems;
Contribute to the analysis and design of new services;
Participate in creating test cases and conduct testing to ensure functionality and reliability;
Work closely with the Team to define technical requirements and architecture;
Actively participate in code reviews and consistently contribute to improving code quality;

Requirements

• Experience in Backend & Middleware Development;
• Hands on experience with Python and related frameworks, ideally Flask or Django;
• Experience with RestFul Services and OpenAPI;
• Understanding of RDBMS and experience with SQL;
• Experience with code versioning tools, preferably Git;
• A strong commitment to teamwork and the willingness to work closely with seniors and other team members;
• A profound interest in understanding, maintaining, and enhancing existing legacy systems;
• A strong commitment to ensuring stability and reliability through regression testing;
• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills;
• Quick learner with the ability to efficiently integrate into existing codebases and contribute effectively;
• Successful development and implementation of robust Python services in the past;
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2/C1);
• It is a full remote position
• Located in Portugal

Nice to Have:
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines;
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or K8S;
Knowledge of additional programming languages for a broad development skill set;
