Job Description

We are recruiting a Junior financial analyst to our finance team Your job will allow you to have a full perspective of finance due to the range of tasks to be performed, from accounting to controlling.

You'll be part of the inception of the finance team with the important role of creating relevant information for the management of the company and documenting existing processes with a critical and open mind.

We're looking for someone resilient and that looks for solutions to problems.
Currently accounting will be part of your daily tasks so a good know is required.

Work will be performed remotely with a monthly visit to the office and hence a self motivated profile is also important.


Responsibilities include among others:
Bank and account reconciliations
Control fixed assets
Verify inventory including in transit
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable monitoring by setting up relevant metrics
Prepare bookings on the company's ERP including analytical accounting
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures including accruals
Revenue, Costs, P&L and Balance sheet analysis and control
Execute the treasury forecast
KPI design and monitoring
Prepare the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and analyze variances
Evaluate ad-hoc projects from a finance standpoint including ROI
Support external auditing processes
Point of contact for internal stakeholders
Assist manager and peers on the daily activities

Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Accounting, or similar
Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role
Advanced Skills in MS Office
Organized and with an appetite for improving existing processes
Attention to detail and analytical analysis

English level B1 minimum - mandatory
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Living in Portugal - punctual in person meetings may be necessary at our Caldas da Rainha Office.
