We are currently working with a big Software House helping them strengthen its Development team with a Data Engineer.

Your Mission:

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the data platform, including test development, to ensure service delivery.

You will have contact with all phases of data platform engineering.

You will be a senior member, helping to develop and guide younger members, as well as contributing to design and architecture decisions.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a data engineer, with a focus on data pipeline development and data warehouse architecture.
Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing platforms (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, as well as familiarity with one or more cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
Experience with DBT (data build tool)
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation
Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and ETL best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design innovative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

You need to live in Portugal or be ok with moving to Portugal
