Role Overview:


We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Independent Sales Representative to lead our expansion plan and manage clients in Europe, with a special focus on Portugal.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in agriculture or plant genetics and possess exceptional communication skills.

This role entails independently building client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and promoting our services and products within Portugal and Spain.


Services to be Executed:

  • Identify Market Size and Develop Business Opportunities in Europe:
  • Research and analyze the market size and potential in European countries, with a specific focus on Portugal.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients within these markets.

Gather Feedback from Key Stakeholders:

  • Collect and analyze feedback from existing clients, competitors, and industry experts in Europe, with particular attention to Portugal.
  • Evaluate feedback on our services and technology to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

Achieve Monthly Sales Targets:

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals set by the company, leveraging customer discovery processes and potential client data provided.
  • Implement sales strategies and adapt as necessary to achieve targets.

Provide Weekly Reports to Management:

  • Prepare and deliver weekly reports detailing market trends, sales performance, and competitor activities.
  • Offer actionable insights and recommendations to the management team based on gathered data and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Genetics, or related fields.
  • Experience in sales and client management, preferably in the agricultural or biotechnology sector.
  • Proficient reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Fluency in English (advanced/fluent level) is essential, as a significant portion of the work will be conducted in English.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis sector and experience within it would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
