Mission Context:

As a Data Specialist - Product Owner, you will lead and manage our data products, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as data scientists, engineers, analysts, scrum masters, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions that fulfill business requirements. Your responsibilities will include crafting detailed product roadmaps and driving the execution of data product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Visioning : Develop a comprehensive vision for data products, such as Data Cloud Solutions, AI Products and Dashboards, including detailed road maps. Effectively communicate this vision to the development team and stakeholders.
  • Agile Team Leadership : Lead and manage agile teams working on data products, fostering a collaborative and productive environment to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Prioritize and Manage Backlogs : Oversee the prioritization and backlog of data projects, ensuring the delivery of epic scope and product iterations in time.
  • Map Internal Demand : Identify and map demands from internal stakeholders for reports, dashboards, and data solutions.
  • Leverage Data for Objectives : Understand business objectives and identify opportunities to leverage data to meet those goals.
  • Define Data Technical Needs : Understand the system landscape and database model, defining the technical data needs for each project.
  • Scrum Participation : Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, including retrospectives, demos, and test labs, with a focus on improving our Data Products.
  • Relentless Improvement : As the Data Product Owner, continuously improve our approach to evaluating, planning, tracking, and documenting changes to core Data business processes, supporting our ongoing growth journey.

Education and experience

  • BSc/MSc degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related.
  • +5 years of professional experience as a Product Owner in the business intelligence or data environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data products.
  • Good knowledge of data analytics methods, tools, and technologies such as SQL and Qlik Sense.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or comparable cloud solutions.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools: kanban boards, jira, confluence.
  • Fluent in English.
