Join the Wolfpack as a Jr. COBOL Developer (Hybrid - Porto)

What skills do you need to have?

Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;

  • 1 year experience in COBOL programming;
Familiarity with COBOL development tools;
Knowledge of relational databases, especially DB2;
Understanding of transactional systems principles, including CICS;
Skills in SQL and data manipulation;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Strong willingness to learn, adapt to legacy technological environments, and grow professionally;

Some of your responsibilities will be:
Develop and maintain applications using COBOL;
Development tools for code optimization and operational efficiency;
Manage and optimize SQL queries for effective manipulation of large datasets in DB2 environments;
Apply principles of transactional systems in CICS environments;
Integrate legacy systems with new technologies;
