Our partner agency in the Netherlands is looking for experienced car damage repair employees to join their team for various locations in the area of Rotterdam.
If you're an experienced car mechanic, this can be your great opportunityIn this postion, your daily tasks will be:
– Vehicle Inspection:
carefully inspecting the damaged vehicle to assess the extent of the damage and determine which parts can be salvaged and which need replacement.
– Component Removal:
safely removing damaged parts, such as body panels, fenders, bumpers, lights, and interior components. This involves using appropriate tools and techniques to avoid causing further damage.
– Parts Salvaging:
identifying and salvaging parts that are still in good condition and can be reused. This can include components like engines, transmissions, suspension parts, and electronic modules.
– Labeling and Organization:
properly labeling and organizing the removed parts to ensure easy identification and retrieval when needed for repairs or resale.
– Documentation:
maintaining accurate records of the dismantled parts, their condition, and their location. This documentation aids in tracking inventory and helps with customer orders.
– Adhering to Safety Procedures:
following established safety protocols to ensure personal safety and prevent accidents during the dismantling process.
– This can involve using protective gear, handling hazardous materials correctly, and working in compliance with industry regulations.
– Coordinating with Repair Technicians:
collaborating with repair technicians to provide them with the necessary parts for the repair process, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs.
– Recycling and Disposal:
properly disposing of non-salvageable parts and fluids according to environmental regulations. Recycling materials such as metals and plastics also fall within the responsibilities of a dismantling employee.
– Inventory Management:
keeping track of the inventory of salvaged parts, updating databases or software systems, and communicating with other departments regarding available stock.
The Company offers:
– At least 40 hours of work/week, with the possibility of overtime
– Working shoes and clothes are provided
– In first phase, the contract is temporary. Later, if the work is of good quality, the contract becomes permanent. There is also a possibility to be employed by the Company itself in the future.
– E-bike, bike, or company car provided
Requirements:
– CV in English is required to apply for this position
– Relevant automotive experience
– Only applicants with significant experience in the field of demontage will be considered
– Applicants should be prepared to be tested on-site
– Serious and flexible
– Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
– Ready to stay and work long-term in the Netherands
