This Belgian company located in Lichtervelde has a huge production facility and is leading its customers towards sustainable cardboard packaging solutions, replacing plastic.

They produce cardboard boxes of various sizes and qualities according to standard FEFCO designs - including boxes with a lid, boxes for online stores, shaped boxes, self-closing boxes with a bottom, or classic cardboard packaging.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the foldable gluing machine and operate the associated gluing equipment whenever a new type of box arrives
• Line tuning to achieve error-free and efficient production
• Setting parameters on the machine and retooling the machine during the day
• Removing minor faults on the machine (manually)
• Taking care of production continuity (non-automatic line)

Requirements:

• Willingness to work two shifts: from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; from 14:00 to 22:00
• Experience as a machine operator min. 2 years
• Possession of an A2 mechanical engineering degree or comparable experience
• Knowing Vega/Diana Jagenberg or Heiber is a plus, but not a requirement
• Technical knowledge acquired through study or experience
• Communicative knowledge of English
• Attention to detail

We offer:

Attractive salary:
€16.5/h + 6% shift allowance = 17,49€/h + €4 food checks for each day worked

• Reimbursement for first arrival in Belgium: €250
• Starting with a temporary employment contract, and after a year you can receive a fixed-term contract.
