THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our Web Dev team.

As an experienced Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our web applications and ensuring their success (both frontend and backend) as well as to proper coordinate and manage a team of incredible engineers.

If you are an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with a proven track record of leadership, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a real impact in Pluggable.

You are also expecting to play a lead role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will:

  • Design, develop, implement, and enhance Pluggable's Web Platform (full-stack);
  • Managing web development projects by planning, organizing, and executing projects, ensuring they are completed within schedule, budget, and with the expected level of quality;
  • Implement and improve API endpoints. implement and use testing frameworks like unittest, pytest, or behave;
  • Implementing best practices in web development and staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in web development;
  • Provide technical guidance to the team, sharing knowledge and experience, and review and approve code written by the team;
  • Develop and maintain project technical documentation and ensure website compliance with accessibility and security standards;
  • Ensure high quality and performance of websites and web applications;
  • Oversee the entire web development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment;
  • Motivating the Web Dev team by setting the team's vision and goals, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements.

ABOUT YOU

You must:

  • Experience in developing web applications using Python, Jinja2, HTML, and JS, among others;
  • Strong experience in frontend frameworks, such as Dash and jQuery, among others;
  • Strong experience with backend technologies, such as Python and Java/Kotlin;
  • Experience with popular Python testing frameworks like unittest, pytest, or behave;
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases for high amounts of data;
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferentially Microsoft's Azure;
  • Grasp web security principles with implementation of security measures;
  • Experience with Git;
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of web developers;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proficiency in Portuguese;
  • 3+ years of experience in developing web applications.
