We are an emerging company preparing to establish a Sociedade de Capital de Risco (SCR) in Portugal. Our goal is to work with various funds in the region and leverage the dynamic financial landscape of Portugal.

Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Financial Market Research Analyst to provide a comprehensive overview and analysis of the Portuguese financial markets.

This role is critical in helping us make informed decisions as we enter this market.

Scope of Work:
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering a detailed report covering the following aspects:

Overview of the Financial Market:

  • Provide a comprehensive view of the current financial market in Portugal, including trends and key players.

Securities and Stock Market Analysis:

  • Analyze the securities market and stock market, detailing market cycles, volatility, market capitalization, trading volume, financial data, and issued quantities for individual stocks.

Commodities Market Insight:

  • Offer an indepth analysis of the commodities market in Portugal, highlighting key commodities, trends, and trading practices.

Government and Corporate Bonds:

  • Detail the current situation of government and corporate bonds, including performance, issuers, and market conditions.

Regulatory and Technological Landscape:

  • Identify any regulatory barriers and provide an overview of the regulatory environment in Portugal.
  • Discuss available trading software and highlight notable asset management companies operating in Portugal.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Finances
  • Proven experience in financial market research, specifically within the Portuguese market.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese (Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is a plus).
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and market dynamics in Portugal.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver highquality, detailed reports.
