AA Euro have been retained to provide skilled Mechanical trades for a major pharmaceutical project close to Cork City. Suitable candidates are required to hold a valid craft certificate as this is essential.
The fitters will be working with LPHW & chilled water as well as carbon and copper pipes. They will work with hygienic, carbon and stainless pipe work.

Responsibilities:

  • Work well in a team environment
  • Interaction with clients/engineers
  • Use of power tools
  • Work with LPHW & chilled water, carbon and copper pipes
  • Hydrostatic Testing of systems
  • Complete take offs where required from installation drawings
  • Have a Proactive & pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Familiar with pipe threading machines/groovers

Requirements:

Qualified Plumbing/Pipe Fitting:
Minimum 3 years' experience

  • Understanding of Drawings isometrics is essential
  • Manual Handling
  • Valid Safe Pass/CSR Card
  • Craft Card
  • Working at Heights & Abrasive Wheels
  • IPAF/MEWP Essential as this is an MEP project and working at height is required
  • Good English level
  • Work authorisation in Ireland (valid PPS Number)

Conditions and benefits:

  • Permanent role
  • Monday to Friday work schedule – 48 hours minimum
  • Accommodation provided (with a pre-defined cost per week)
  • Supplemental pay types – per SEO
  • Reimbursement of Flight ticket cost
  • Ability to commute/relocate and to work over time
Contract length: 12 months minimum
