Who We Are:

Join GlobalStep, the trusted ally of the biggest gaming brands in creating exceptional digital experiences for players worldwide. Our team of specialists has successfully supported the launch of over 3,000 video game titles, resulting in a revenue exceeding $30 billion.

What will you do:

  • Ensure the quality of video games and related software translations, checking for language accuracy in texts and audio files across various media.
  • Document spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, and translation errors for review.
  • Provide suitable corrections to maintain top-notch translation quality.
  • Spot inconsistencies in storyline, lack of context, or inappropriate terms.
  • Ensure content is culturally adapted for the German market.
  • Report tasks using evaluation sheets to Test Lead.

Requirements:

  • Work Shift: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Lisbon Time, Monday to Friday.
  • Proficient in German language and culture.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in translation or localization is a bonus.
  • Bilingual in German and English.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Rigorous and independent.
  • Proficient in IT tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Google Drive).
