The DevelopmentCenter Merlin develops software forproduct configuration. The solutions support companies (such asAirbus, Daimler, MAN) in designing their sales processes and makeproduct worlds an intuitive experience.
OurDevelopmentCenter SmartApp Factory develops apps, products andsolutions for the SmartWe, YellowMap and UnitedKiosk softwaresolutions. The spectrum of our DevelopmentCenter ranges from portaldevelopments for Bioland, map and store finder solutions to smartreading applications and customer-specific SmartWe apps.
Our DevelopmentCenter SmartDesign develops the basis fornumerous CAS products and external development partners.Development according to clean code principles is therefore a highpriority.

- At the heart of your work is thedevelopment of technically and visually sophisticated solutions forrelationship management and product configuration, with a focus onserver-side applications and databases.
- Yourwork will include backend (Java) and you will accompany the entireprocess from requirements analysis and conception to thedevelopment and implementation of the software.
- You work in a multidisciplinary Scrum team. You like totake on responsibility, think outside the box and enjoy drivingimprovements.
Modern technologiesfrom the Java environment support you in your work. Your workingenvironment is methodically based on the agile Scrum process modeland technologically on Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Confluence and Jira.
Your skills- You have a degree in a computer science-oriented degree program orare about to graduate.
- You have initialexperience in the development of professional applications in Java(C#), e.g. through internships, as a working student or a first jobafter graduation.
- Are you familiar withrelational databases and have you had initial contact with theareas of test-driven development and clean code? That would be aplus.
- You enjoy working with moderntechnologies, frameworks and tools and sharing your knowledge withyour team members.
- Helping to shape productsand your own work area - that's what drives you.
