Java Backend Developer – Hybrid, Lisbon Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid model) English: Advanced level required At Hexa Consulting we want to spread transparency and enable diverse tech careers. We work with Nearshore projects, TM & Project Development, Service Management and Tech Academies. We’re looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our team in Lisbon The ideal candidate will have strong experience in microservices environments using Spring Boot , and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems. What you’ll do: Develop and maintain backend services built with Java & Spring Boot Design, implement, and optimize microservices architectures Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability What we’re looking for: Proven experience in Java backend development Solid knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices Experience with REST APIs , CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus) Advanced level of English (mandatory) If you’re passionate about backend development and want to work in a dynamic hybrid setup with international exposure — we’d love to hear from you
