We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support (APS) professional to join a Wealth Management IT team, providing IT Production Support on AS/400 environments.This role is strongly focused on Run & Operations, handling incidents, BAU service requests, batch monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance in business-critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support & OperationsProvide L1/L2 production support for application, system, and batch-related issuesAS/400 (primary)Unix / Windows (secondary)Monitor production batches and infrastructure componentsEnsure batch incidents are identified, analyzed, and resolved within agreed timelinesEscalate risks, major incidents, and operational issues to APS leadershipEnsure adherence to Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and operational roadmapsEnsure all production activities comply with IT standards and best practicesContinuous Improvement & KnowledgeCreate, review, and maintain Application Support knowledge articlesIdentify and propose automation opportunities to improve availability, performance, and productivityContribute to stability and resilience of production environmentsRequired Skills & ExperienceTechnical SkillsStrong AS/400 troubleshooting skillsSolid knowledge of:DB2/400, CL/400, SQL/400RPG / RPGLE, COBOL/400AS/400 subsystems, job queues, job logs, journals, objectsExperience with Unix / Windows environmentsStrong SQL querying and data analysis skillsFamiliarity with job scheduling systemsBasic understanding of BRMS (backup, recovery, media services)Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA is a plusKnowledge of Core Banking systems (Olympic, Transact, or similar) is a strong plusUnderstanding of ITIL processesProfileStrong problem solver with a production mindsetCalm and structured in high-pressure situationsProactive, resilient, and continuously improvingTeam player with strong communication skillsExperience7+ years of overall IT experience in infrastructure and application support3+ years of hands-on AS/400 support experienceOnsite Position (100% in office)
