About the Role We’re seeking licensed physicians based in Germany or Portugal to contribute clinical expertise to the development of reliable, safe, and high-quality AI systems for healthcare. You’ll review medical reasoning, evaluate complex clinical scenarios, and collaborate with technical teams to improve model performance. Key Responsibilities Review and validate AI-generated medical content for clinical accuracy, depth of reasoning, and clarity Evaluate complex case studies/diagnostic challenges and identify edge cases Provide structured feedback and improvement suggestions to enhance clinical reasoning Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow medical experts on evaluation methods and benchmarks Required Qualifications Licensed, practising physician in Germany or Portugal with 3+ years post-qualification clinical experience Background in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Paediatrics, Surgery, Anaesthesiology, or Diagnostic Specialities Excellent written communication and ability to collaborate with technical teams Language: Fluency in Portuguese or German (C1/C2) and professional English (Nice to have) Experience with evidence appraisal, guideline-based care, QA, or clinical informatics Engagement Details Type: Contract (independent contractor) - Remote Time: Up to 30 hours/week (flexible schedule) Initial Term: 6 months , extendable based on project needs and performance Location/Work Authorisation: Residing in Germany or Portugal with legal ability to work from that country Benefits: As a contractor role, this position is not eligible for company employee benefits Perks Fully remote collaboration Impactful work on cutting-edge AI alongside leading teams in the LLM space Selection Process Short screening discussion Clinical/QA exercise focused on medical reasoning and quality review (Optional technical track) If applying for a clinician-engineer track , a short practical task may assess familiarity with clinical data workflows (e.g., Python/FastAPI or similar).
