Software Architect Seniority: 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect Location: Lisbon, Portugal Languages: English (C1) - french is a plus Remote Work: 2 - 3 days per week in the office We are only accepting candidates that are already in Portugal and that possess a valid work permit for Portugal ✅About the Role Reporting directly to the CTO, the Software Architect will be responsible for driving technical expertise across the organization, combining technical excellence with a strong passion for innovation. This role involves leading architectural decisions, guiding teams in best practices, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions. ✅ Required Skills Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect. Proven experience in cloud environments , preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong hands‑on expertise with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). Advanced knowledge of backend languages such as Node.js, Java, and Python. Extensive experience with containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and process automation . Ability to assess technical and business trade‑offs , applying principles of scalable and sustainable design. Lead technical decision‑making in cloud projects (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring best practices and resource optimization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire software lifecycle, from design to post‑production monitoring. Define development standards and coach teams on best practices across multiple languages and frameworks, both frontend (React, Angular, Vue) and backend (Node.js, Java, Python). Integrate and orchestrate containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) to ensure efficient and reliable deployments. Design and evolve scalable architectures , guaranteeing performance, security, and maintainability. Ensure compliance with security best practices across all components of the platform.
