Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you design and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for industrial automation solutions used across global manufacturing operations. You play a key role in ensuring reliable, scalable, and safe mechanical systems that support production efficiency and innovation at the Castelo Branco site.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems and assemblies that meet project requirements and production needs.
  • Develop scalable and efficient mechanical solutions for industrial automation equipment.
  • Ensure mechanical functionalities are delivered with high quality and within project timelines.
  • Create and improve mechanical components used in automation and robotic systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including mechanical drawings and pneumatic schematics.
  • Validate mechanical designs through testing and support system integration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in mechanical design, product development, or industrial automation environments.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design and drafting.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio and engineering-related software tools.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Portuguese, with availability for occasional domestic and international travel.
