We are looking for a Data Expert / Databricks to join our Client’s team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon or Porto. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the modernization of data platforms , migrating legacy systems to Databricks Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines Implement ETL/ELT processes , from source system acquisition to ingestion using a Medallion architecture or similar Work extensively with Databricks to process and transform large volumes of data Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions Optimize data workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Enable data-driven decision-making by supporting reliable analytics and reporting (Depending on the project) Support technology conversion initiatives using GenAI Required Qualifications Professional experience with Databricks (mandatory; level adjusted for Junior, Mid-level, or Senior profiles) Strong foundation in data engineering concepts and best practices Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data ingestion Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) English proficiency at B2 level or higher Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week on-site) Why Join Us?
