Network Engineer

People powered. Technology enabled. About the Role We’re expanding our Technology Services Team capacity to support our customers. This professional will be responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining robust network infrastructures - covering LAN, WAN and WLAN - ensuring reliable connectivity, performance and security. The ideal candidate has strong experience with routing, wireless solutions and firewalls, along with relevant vendor certifications, and will contribute to the overall stability and scalability of our network environment. Responsibilities Design, configure and maintain LAN, WAN and WLAN architectures, ensuring network performance and reliability; Configure and manage routing protocols, with special focus on BGP, as well as other relevant protocols for routing and switching; Implement and manage wireless network solutions, using wireless controllers (e.G., Cisco), including configuration, optimization and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi networks; Deploy, configure and manage firewalls and security devices, ensuring network security across the infrastructure; Collaborate in planning and implementing network expansions or upgrades; support network architecture decisions and scalability planning; Provide troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of network issues, including network connectivity, routing, wireless and security incidents; Maintain and document network configurations, topologies, policies and procedures; ensure compliance with best practices and standards; Work with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, security, operations) to ensure integrated and secure network services. Requirements Academic background (Bachelor’s or equivalent degree) in Computer Networks, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar area; Hands-on experience and proven competence in LAN, WAN and WLAN architectures; Strong knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols, especially BGP, and general network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, etc.); Experience implementing and managing wireless solutions with network controllers (e.G., Cisco wireless controllers); Experience withfirewall configuration and management, preferably with vendors such as Palo Alto or Check Point; Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP in routing/switching or wireless are required or highly valued; Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, and focus on quality and reliability; Good communication and teamwork skills; Good command ofthe English language (spoken and written).
