We are more than 500 consultants with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid.DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas:• DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;• DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;• DECSKILL CONNECT, through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.Our practice results in the creation of value for our customers, either by delivering qualified and value-added services, or through highly qualified and motivated professionals, as well as technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers.We are looking for a Data Engineer for a project based in Braga (Hybrid).Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecturesWork with large-scale datasets, ensuring high performance and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decisionsOptimize data models and storage solutions for analytics and reportingRequired Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar roleStrong experience with AWS cloud servicesProficiency in Python, JavaScript, and ScalaSolid experience with Big Data technologies and data modelingAdvanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with a strong understanding of when and why to use each solutionHands-on experience with tools from the Big Data ecosystem, such as: Hadoop, Cassandra, Apache Hive, Apache Spark or similar technologiesNice to HaveExperience working in agile environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of data solutionsIf you’re interested in this job please send your CV in English to daniela.adao@decskill.com with reference “DA/Data”.Decskill is committed to equality and non-discrimination with all our talents.
