About the job We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build, automate and maintain our infrastructure in a scalable and secure way. What you will be doing: Help design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar) for building, testing and deploying applications. Create, manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP), following security and cost-optimization best practices. Work with containerization and, ideally, orchestration (Kubernetes or similar) for service deployment. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, etc.), helping define metrics, dashboards and alerts. Use Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources. Develop small automation scripts in Python (or similar languages) to simplify operational tasks and integrate systems. Collaborate with the development team to improve the reliability, performance and security of applications in production. Contribute to the documentation of processes, pipelines, architectures and DevOps best practices. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; At least one year of experience in roles related to DevOps, Cloud, SRE or similar (or strong relevant academic/personal projects). Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing, preferably Microsoft Azure (e.g. App Services, VMs, Storage, Networking, Resource Groups, etc.); experience with AWS or GCP is a plus. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with Docker (building images, using Dockerfiles, docker-compose, managing containers). Knowledge of monitoring and logging; hands-on experience with Grafana (or similar tools) is a plus. Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform (modules, state, backends, etc.). Basic Python skills for scripting and automation (e.g. scripts for API integrations, maintenance tasks, etc.). Solid understanding of fundamentals concepts: networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP), operating systems (Linux), Git and version control. Automation mindset and a drive for continuous improvement: you enjoy solving problems in a systematic way and reducing repetitive manual work. Ability to work in a team, eagerness to learn, openness to feedback and to grow in a dynamic environment.
