We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team, ideally an experienced professional passionate about Java development, cloud technologies, and microservices . Location: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid – 1 day/week on-site) Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Work with Kubernetes and Docker to ensure efficient container orchestration Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver microservice solutions Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and security Profile Requirements 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and strong hands-on expertise in Spring Boot Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services Solid understanding of microservices architecture Practical experience with Kubernetes Strong skills in API design and RESTful services Previous experience working in Agile development environments Interested?
