EMESA Platinion Finance Director - Lisbon Management Job Description Job Title: EMESA Platinion Finance Director Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Other EMESA cities possible) Company: Boston Consulting Group (BCG Platinion) Job Type: Full-time About BCG Platinion: BCG Platinion specializes in business-critical IT architecture and digital solutions, delivering customized, future-proof technology platforms and consulting services globally. Role Overview: Lead the finance function for BCG Platinion across the EMESA region (Europe, Middle East, South Asia). You will lead a team of finance professionals, partner with senior leaders, and drive finance strategy, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Act as a strategic finance partner to EMESA Platinion leadership. Develop and implement scalable finance operating models. Analyze backlog, pipeline, and conversion metrics for business insights. Collaborate with Managing Directors and Business Development teams on commercial models and business cases. Lead regional financial planning: budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modeling. Provide timely financial insights supporting decision-making. Manage pricing, rate setting, and capacity planning. Oversee budgeting for local systems and regional teams. Commercial & Business Support Support pricing, project economics, and investment decision-making. Collaborate with leadership to assess client engagement profitability. Develop reporting and dashboards for leadership needs. Drive adoption of financial tools across the organization. Lead, coach, and develop the regional finance team. Foster cross-functional collaboration with global Centers of Excellence and Shared Services. Required Qualifications: University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related (MBA or professional certifications like CPA/ACCA a plus). 10+ years progressive finance experience, ideally in consulting or matrix international environments. Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes and statutory accounting. Proven leadership and change management experience. Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex environments. Who You’ll Work With: You will collaborate closely with regional and global Platinion leadership, BCG finance teams, business operations, and HR.
