Hexa Consulting is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of scalable backend solutions for our clients . What we're looking for: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in Java development , working with recent versions such as Java 17 or Java 21 Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Good understanding of multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate) Experience with Git , CI/CD pipelines , and build tools like Maven or Gradle Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus Focus on clean code, unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and modern software engineering practices Ability to work collaboratively in agile environments Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English Location: Lisbon or Porto (hybrid) Why Hexa Consulting?
