What will be your role We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join an international client in the customer communications sector. You will be part of a specialized team responsible for developing and evolving AI-driven features, working with modern cloud architectures and scalable backend services. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript and associated technologies. Implement and evolve AI-powered functionalities. Build and optimize cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services. Collaborate with data engineers/scientists. Ensure performance, reliability, observability, and high-quality delivery across backend components. Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and best-practice definitions within the engineering team. Who will work by your side? What should you bring to the team? Strong professional experience as a Backend Developer , with advanced proficiency in TypeScript . Deep knowledge of AWS architecture and services, including CloudFront, ALB, SQS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and related components. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform. Familiarity with containers (ECS/EKS) or serverless architectures (Lambda). Experience integrating backend services with AI/ML components is a plus. Knowledge of Python, Go, or Airflow is highly valued. Strong problem-solving mindset, autonomy, and ability to work in global, distributed teams. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality engineering practices. Proficiency in English (mandatory). Comfortable working in Agile environments, with excellent organizational and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. The capacity to listen & influence people and foster change in a collaborative way. A keen commitment to your team.
